Your group is made up of outdoor enthusiasts. You love to travel and enjoy the beauty of nature. You have been approached by the government of Brazil to submit a plan for an ecotourism industry in the Pantanal region. You are aware that there are other plans for economic development in this part of Brazil. Your group is concerned that the natural environment of the Pantanal might be lost forever if some of these plans go through. Your goal is to propose an ecotourism industry that is economically appealing to the local people, but also preserves the fragile ecosystem of the area.
